Attendance on Remote Learning Days – Update

Because the PDE guidelines call for students to be engaged and completing assignments daily, Penn Manor is requiring students to log into the period 1 teachers’ Google Classroom by 8:30 a.m. and then into the remainder of their classes throughout the day.  Students also need to complete the daily assignment and submit it within two days.  

While we desire for students to follow the structured day that we have while in school, we do know that some students will need to be afforded some flexibility.  This may be because of a family’s situation and not able to work during the class time or because some will complete the assignment before the class time is over and want to move on to the next assignment. 

For these reasons, students must login by 8:30 a.m. and then may log into their periods 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 classes at any time throughout the day.  Assignments do need to be submitted within two days.
